Chaz Beasley Wins Race For North Carolina House District 92
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Chaz Beasley has won the race for North Carolina House District 92, media outlets are now reporting. Beasley leads his opponent, Beth Danae Caulfield, by a margin of approximately 3700 votes with 15 of 16 precincts currently reporting.
“I’m honored by the confidence that the voters have placed in me,” Beasley stated. “I will work hard, every single day, to represent each member of this community. We’ve run a strong and positive campaign and I appreciate our volunteers, our supporters, and our campaign team that made it possible.”
Chaz Beasley is the Representative-elect for NC House District 92, located in Mecklenburg County. It includes parts of Huntersville, Charlotte, Pineville and Steele Creek, as well as Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.
Born and raised in the foothills of North Carolina, Beasley grew up in a low-income, single parent home. He attended North Carolina public schools and graduated with honors from Harvard University. Beasley then went on to earn his law degree at Georgetown.
Currently, Beasley works as an attorney in the finance industry. He lives in Steele Creek with his fiancée Whitney, and his future stepdaughter, Maddison.
